Foreign delegates from around 10 countries like Denmark, UK,

welcome in traditional Indian way and were presented turbans and stoles
amidst dhol beats. Dignitaries were welcomed by the school band and NCC
cadets. A melodious welcome song was sung by the school choir to express
the feeling of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ followed by a colourful and enthusiastic
Rajasthani dance performed by the students. Principal Ms. Monika Mehan

contribution to the society. DGN Rtn. Subhash Jain also addressed the gathering and expressed his gratitude towards D.A.V Dwarka for always

lively school band and NCC cadets led the grand caravan. More than 800
students, 100 staff members, foreign delegates and Rotarians took along the
battalion and marched forward from the school premises to Palam
Extension Colony near Ramphal Chowk, Dwarka with great fervour.
Longmen, e-rickshaws, manual rickshaws, bicycle-riders, bikers and
students of other schools also enthusiastically participated to support this
noble cause. Students carried flags, placards and banners with messages
such as “Give polio drops, give healthy life,” “Keep India Polio Free”,

sufferings” during the rally. Energetic performance of some students on folk
songs added hues to the rally. Foreigners joined students in performance.
