                   Cultural Programme at Rotary Club of Delhi Uptown 

The Interact Club of DAV Dwarka presented a cultural programme in the meeting of the Rotary Club of Delhi Uptown at Sunderlal Jain Hospital, Ashok Vihar, New Delhi. Around 30 students of the school presented a confluence of Indian Culture through their colourful and mesmerizing performances.
The programme began with the melodious welcome song by the students. Samiksha Puri, the President of the Interact Club of the school provided a glimpse of the activities undertaken by the club through a well organized power point presentation. Ananya Dubey, the budding author of the school, recited self composed poems in Hindi and English. The fusion dance-an amalgamation of the Kathak and Bharatnatyam with a touch of western style was highly applauded by the audience. The soul stirring street play on ‘Child Labour’ earned thunders of cheer and applause by everyone. The harmonious qawwali lent a musical end to the cultural programme. Rtn. Krishan Lal, President, Rotary Club of Delhi Uptown commended the wonderful performances of the students and presented them small gifts as token of appreciation. Principal Monika Mehan appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to keep the spirit of enthusiasm alive in their hearts forever.
