 International Labour Day

The Interact Club of M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka celebrated International Labour Day to appreciate and acknowledge the hard work of the support staff of the school, who works with full dedication to ensure the safety, security and hygiene of the school.
A special assembly was organised on the occasion. The celebrations began with a speech delivered by Tanya of class X-B, which highlighted the role of labour in making our lives easy and comfortable. A self composed poem lauding the ceaseless efforts of the work force of the nation and the school in particular was recited by Ananya Dubey of class X-E. A melodious song highlighting the dignity of labour was presented by the students of Interact Club. Street Play by Interactors on the importance of each worker in society was applauded by all.
Principal Ms. Monika Mehan expressed her gratitude towards the workers for providing safe and healthy school environment and said that the future generation needs to be made aware of the importance of workers and students must learn to appreciate their efforts. The Interact Club students expressed their love and regard towards the support staff of the school by presenting them gifts. The support staff was overwhelmed watching the function and expressed thanks towards the Principal, teachers and students for making the day special for them.
