Interact Club partcicipates in DILA 2019

Interact Club of M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka particpated in 'Umang'- DILA 2019 held at Talkatora Stadium , New Delhi on 16th October 2019. Interactors carried out 'Fight the Bite' campaign at the venue. The unique initiative of the school 'Green Gaddi' was also displayed at the venue.

Interact Club of M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka organised a workshop for students on Sex Education and Child Sexual Abuse in association with Parwarish, an organisation for the holistic development for children.Students were sensitised and trained about the ways to keep themselves protected from sexual abuse.

Interact Club of M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka in association with the Disaster Management Club of school organised Disaster Management Training for students. The training was conducted by Mr. Vinod Bhardwaj, Project Director, District Disaster Management Authority, South West District,Delhi. Students were empowered with various ways to handle disasters safely and effectively.

The Interact Club of M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka  organsied a session for  interactors on ‘Determination to Succeed’ . The keynote speaker for the session was Dr. Arvind Phukan, founder President of Core Professional Group for Brahmaputra. The other speakers for the occasion were Rtn. Rakesh Kumar, Interact Co-chair R.I. Dist. 3011, Rtn. Vipin Jain, President, Rotary Club of Delhi Restoring Smiles, Rtn. Gaurav Ahuja and Rtn. Brij Mohan from Rotary Club of Delhi Restoring Smiles. The guests were extended a ‘sow n grow’ welcome by Principal Ms. Monika Mehan.

Dr.Phukan apprised the students of various qualities required to achieve success in life. He shared various anecdotes from his life and motivated the interactors to be enterprising to attain success in life. He also urged the students to be respectful to the parents and have the habit of praying to the God.

Rtn. Rakesh Kumar encouraged the students to be dedicated  and also work for the cause of humanity and advised them to work on some sustainable projects for the betterment of society. Rtn. Gaurav Ahuja also inspired the future custodians to do their bit in the direction of environment conservation as small efforts lead to big and positive changes in society.

Principal Ms. Monika Mehan expressed her gratitude to the guests for inspiring the young brigade of the school.
