Club celebrates International Labour Day

The Interact Club of DAV Dwarka celebrated International
Labour day to mark the recognition of dignity of labour.
A special assembly was
organized on the occasion which was also attended by the support staff of the
school. Students of the club presented speech and recited poems highlighting
the importance of the day.
A wonderful skit staged by the students accentuating
the role of each labour for strong nation, earned a lot of applause.
Prior to
the event, students prepared attractive handmade cards with heart touching
messages. These cards along with biscuit packets were presented to the support staff
of the school .
The oldest serving members of the support staff expressed their
feelings and conveyed their gratitude towards the students and the school for
acknowledging their efforts in the advancement of the school .
A digital training session was also conducted by the
Interact Club and the Technomania Club teachers for the support staff to digitally
empower them in today’s technology oriented environment. Food packets were also
provided to them by the young Interactors.
A helper training programme was also arranged for the
support staff by the Interact Club students wherein they were given training on
the use of suitable mannerism and etiquette to reach out to students, teachers
and staff.
Principal Monika Mehan also elucidated the significance
of each employee in an institution’s progress and development .She commended
the enthusiastic efforts of the club and inspired them to do every bit to make
this world a better place to live in.
